Websites for law firms

Calm, trustworthy websites for law firms. From €900 + VAT. Two law firm sites are already done: Heiskanen and Virtalaki, both in Finland.

For you if you

  • want a website that calmly explains which matters you handle and how to reach you.
  • want to explain how you price your work, so people looking for legal help don't have to guess.
  • want people looking for legal help to find your firm on Google and in AI search (ChatGPT, Gemini).

What a law firm site needs

  • Clear practice areas

Each area of law gets its own page in the client's own words, for example shareholder agreement or estate inventory. That way the client and Google find exactly that matter.

  • Lawyer profiles

Education and expertise are stated as facts, with a real photo. The site also shows clearly whether you are a law office or an attorneys' office with Bar members.

  • Contact without pressure

Your phone number is visible right away. A short form asks about the type of matter and how urgent it is, and the tone is matter-of-fact: no exclamation marks, no promises of results.

  • Confidentiality in view

The site says that contacting you is confidential and how data is handled. The first message doesn't need to include the details of the matter.

  • How you price

The site explains whether you bill by the hour or at a fixed price, and what the first meeting costs. Openness builds trust.

Site structure

A good law firm website usually has five to ten pages. These are the ones a person looking for legal help needs:

  • Home page: who you are, which matters you handle and how to get in touch.
  • A page for each area of law, for example estates, divorce, employment, disputes or business law.
  • Lawyers: education, experience, languages and a real photo.
  • Pricing: hourly rate or fixed prices, the price of a first meeting, and legal expenses insurance and legal aid if they apply to your firm.
  • Contact details: phone, a short form, a map and information about remote meetings.
  • A privacy policy that explains how contact details are handled.

How clients search

People looking for legal help type their own problem into Google or an AI tool, not the name of an area of law. For example:

  • probate lawyer cost
  • lawyer in Tampere
  • getting divorced what to do
  • fired unfairly lawyer
  • lawyer near me

That's why each matter deserves its own page that answers exactly this question. Showing up on the map depends on your Google Business Profile and genuine reviews. Visibility in AI search →

Show technical details

Every law firm project goes through the same checklist. Technical terms explained:

  • A separate address for each area of law: each service has its own URL, or web address, so search engines find exactly that topic.
  • Schema (JSON-LD): machine-readable markup that tells search engines and AI search what type of firm you are and what services you offer. The type used is LegalService.
  • Multiple languages: each language gets its own address and hreflang tags, which tell search engines which language version is meant for whom. Virtalaki works in four languages.
  • No ranking promises: the content is written in a form that AI search can pull an answer from.

FAQ

Will my firm show up on Google when someone searches for a law firm in my city?

The site is built so that Google and AI search (ChatGPT, Gemini) understand which matters you handle and where you work. I can't promise rankings, because they can't be measured in advance. In Studio, your Google Business Profile is set up properly.

Can I check the text before launch?

Yes. You see the first version within 5 working days and approve the text before launch. If your firm is an attorneys' office, you check the Bar Association's marketing rules yourself, and I don't give legal advice.

How is confidentiality handled?

The form only asks about the type of matter and how urgent it is, not the details. If I process data on your behalf, we sign a written data processing agreement. The site states clearly that contacting you is confidential.

How long does a law firm website take?

Starter takes 1.5 to 2 weeks, Studio 3 to 4 weeks and Premium 5 to 7 weeks. The schedule is agreed in writing before work starts.

What does a law firm website cost?

A site for one lawyer and one area of law from €900 + VAT (Starter). Several areas of law on their own pages, or several languages, from €2,500 (Studio). You get the exact price as a fixed quote.

Can the content of my old site be moved over?

Yes. The old text is used as a starting point, and old addresses are redirected to the new ones so the pages Google already knows don't disappear.

Can the site have more than one language?

Yes, in Studio and Premium. Each language gets its own address. The Virtalaki site works in four languages.
